POSITION OVERVIEW:  

 

The Shared Services Treasury Analyst reports to the Shared Services Treasury Manager. This position’s responsibilities include execution of all day-to-day cash activities and custody needs of business groups.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review and enter fund transfers and security trades electronically.

    • Transactions include invoice payments, interaccount transfers, foreign exchanges, trade and bank loan settlements, Prime Broker margin calls, deal fundings and investor distributions.

  • Record checks received and send to banks for deposit.

  • Maintain investor wire instructions in SalesForce.

  • Open/close bank accounts, as necessary.

  • Act as a liaison between fund controllers/accountants and banking partners to address issues and needs related to account openings and daily cash movement.

  • Resolve overdrafts, unapplied cash, returned wires, requests for additional information from banks, fund accountants and controllers.

  • Coordinate delivery and safekeeping of securities – bonds, stocks, notes; track all security details in one location.

  • Take lead on execution of corporate actions and proxies.

  • Analyze bank fees; resolve issues and disseminate details to funds.

  • Maintain complete and accurate records.

  • Take initiative to identify, execute and document changes to operational procedures.

  • Assume additional responsibilities as needed as the Shared Services organization evolves.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience in a cash management or banking environment.

  • Experience with cash payment processes; specifically wire transfer, checks, ACH and SWIFT.

  • Experience with cash management bank applications (JP Morgan TI, Bank of America CashPro, Goldman Sachs WPE) preferred.

  • Ability to work closely with a team and as an individual contributor.

  • Aptitude for multi-tasking and prioritizing responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy, outstanding organizational and time management skills.

  • Excellent customer service acumen, will be communicating with bank partners and colleagues throughout the Company.

  • Desk top computer skills (Excel, Word, etc.)
