Play an integral role in helping employees understand their company's benefits. Deliver presentations during orientation sessions, explaining to new workers what benefits the company offers and when their benefits become effective. Serve as primary source of information for open enrollment, which is the annual period when employees can change, enroll in or amend their group health insurance plans. Maintain up‐to‐date knowledge and a clear understanding of the company's health plan benefits and coverage, deductibles, employer contributions and employee premiums.
Handle employee questions about the retirement plans the company offers. Must be well‐versed in 401(k) and other retirement savings vehicles. Coordinate with employees and payroll about the employer's contributions to savings plans. Handle inquiries about vesting and rollovers for employees who leave the company or retire.
Coordinate FMLA administration (help with establishment of 3rd party leave management services). Act as liaison between impacted employees, managers, and HRBPs and 3rd party administrator. Provide FMLA case management support in the interim.
Carrier Enrollment & Contribution data management
Oversee and produce carrier file feeds (automated or manual where necessary). Research and resolve interface errors. Provides technical support during implementation and design of carrier interface files. Aids in planning, design, and rollout of open enrollment exercises each plan year as necessary. Reconciles benefits invoices and Retirement plan contributions and loans.
HCM Administrative Support
Support Sr. Payroll Specialist in maintaining data integrity. Support Associates with Benefits enrollment within HCM platform as necessary. Troubleshoot HCM Platform access and functionality issues. Review and approve benefit elections following predetermined guidelines as directed by Director, Payroll & Compensation.
